Third Party, Fire and Theft
This type of cover is the minimum required in Ireland, by law. The insurance policy covers any damage caused to third parties in accidents (ie. everything but you and what you own). Damage caused to your car is not covered under this policy if you are the cause of the damage. However, if your car is stolen and burnt, then you are entitled to make a claim.

Fully Comprehensive Insurance entitles you to all the benefits of Third Party, Fire and Theft, along with the added cover for you and your property.
